My name is Maija Spence. I'm a sophomore music education major at RIC with my main focus being voice. I'm currently in six different ensembles, including RIC's Chamber Singers and Concert Chorus and Providence Singers. I'm a senior staff member in the Rhode Island Children's Chorus and I work with the elementary level students in that organization. When I'm not in class, I'm usually at rehearsal or work! I've worked at Applebee's for about a year and a half now. Besides music, I really enjoy reading when I have the time and I've been latchhooking lately which has been an amazing stress reliever. Over the winter break, I went to my mom's hometown in Michigan with her and it was really fun!
